About
Marianthe Bezzerides is an award-winning composer renowned for her evocative musical voice, contributing to over 40 films, video games, and documentaries. Her work spans various media, including feature films like BattleForce (Lionsgate) Crimes and Mister Meanors (Apple TV), video games such as Call of Duty and Need for Speed, and television shows like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Project Runway.
She began her career as one of the first staff composers at SomaTone Interactive Audio, a premier music production company for video games and interactive media. Her compositions have been featured across major gaming platforms, including Nintendo DS, Meta, and mobile devices. Notably, she scored a commercial spot for Under Armour directed by emerging filmmaker Jerry White.
Marianthe has collaborated with directors on several features and documentaries. Crimes and Mister Meanors and The Solomon Bunch (Apple TV) were both directed by Jason Prisk, and documentary Dino Costa: Truth Unscripted (Amazon Prime) was directed by Joel Franco. Backyard, directed by Deia Schlosberg, won a College Emmy and Humanitarian Award. Her score for Dead Man’s Bluff won Best Score in the Independent Shorts Awards. She has also collaborated frequently with writer/director, Taegen Carter, on several short films such as Destined, Teddy and Variance. She also scored Cherry Lemonade, directed by Aisha Ford that premiered at countless festivals including Tribeca.
Graduating with a B.A. in Music Composition from Loyola Marymount University and a Master's degree in Music Composition from the Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach, her devotion to music is evident in her lifelong experience and work. A pianist at heart, she also plays guitar, violin, and double bass, and was an award-winning composer from a young age. She participated in the selective BMI Composing for the Screen Workshop in New York City, led by veteran composer Rick Baitz. She currently lives and works in the greater Los Angeles area.
