Marianthe is an award winning composer with an evocative musical voice. Her work can be heard in countless films such as BattleForce (Lionsgate), videogames such as Call of Duty and Need for Speed, and several other titles from Electronic Arts, Sega, Activision, Legacy Interactive and Ubisoft. Several of her songs have been licensed for TV (My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic, Project Runway, Quest for the One (NBC Sports) and for Forbes Travel. Honing her musical craft as one of the first staff composers at SomaTone Interactive Audio, the premiere music production company for Videogames and interactive media, her work spans across all major game platforms including Nintendo DS, Facebook, and Apple/Android. Most recently she scored a commercial spot for Under Armour directed by Jerry White, an emerging filmmaker.
Over the years, she has enjoyed repeated collaborations with directors for several features and documentaries namely Crimes and Mister Meanors and The Solomon Bunch, both directed by Jason Prisk and have enjoyed widespread distribution. She also has scored several documentaries such as Dino Costa: Truth Unscripted (Amazon Prime), directed by Joel Franco, and Backyard, directed by Deia Schlosberg (co-producer of HBO's How to Let Go of the World, directed by Josh Fox), which won a College Emmy and Humanitarian Award. In addition to her own projects, she has assisted major composers and worked in the music department for Seven Pounds directed by Gabriele Muccino. Her experience over the years has yielded a fresh take on musical storytelling thriving on thematic vulnerability and dynamic versatility.
Graduating with a B.A. in Music Composition from Loyola Marymount University and a Masters degree in Music Composition from the Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB, her devotion to music is evident in her life-long experience and work. A pianist at heart, she can play guitar, violin and double bass and was an award-winning composer from a young age.
She participated in the selective BMI Composing for the Screen Workshop in New York City led by veteran composer, Rick Baitz.
